We are excited to let you know that our Year 5 classes will be visiting St Mary’s Cathedral for an excursion on Thursday, 3rd September (Week 7).
Students will travel by bus to St Mary’s Cathedral in the city, where they will take part in an engaging educational and faith-based experience connected to our learning at school. It will be a wonderful opportunity for students to learn beyond the classroom and explore an important part of Perth’s Catholic community and history. This experience will also provide valuable preparation for students who will be celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation next year.
Excursion Details:
- Thursday, 3rd September – Week 7
- Bus departs school at 9:00am sharp
- Students are to wear their formal winter uniform. As it can be quite cold inside the Cathedral, a school jumper is recommended.
- Students are to bring a small bag containing their recess, lunch and water bottle.
- Students will also need to bring their pencil case for activities during the excursion.
- We will return to school by the end of the school day, ready for normal pick-up.
Please ensure your child arrives at school on time on Thursday, as the bus will be leaving promptly at 9:00am.
Timetable Change – Tuesday:
Due to our excursion on Thursday, Sport and Music have been moved to Tuesday during Periods 5 and 6. Students are welcome to wear their faction polo on Tuesday for Sport.
