On Thursday, 30th April 2026, the Year 4 students and parent helpers participated in an excursion to the Art Gallery of Western Australia.
As the students explored through the gallery, they had incredible opportunities to pose questions, share insights, and their own experiences with the amazing volunteers at the museum; creating an environment of shared learning and appreciation of all the captivating works throughout the trip.
The students also had a chance to become involved in the art process! By making use of recycled and reclaimed materials, the students (and adult helpers!) put on a fashion show for their peers that expressed their personal style/ taste.
After lunch and a short walk through the displays at their own pace, the students headed for home back to Greenmount with stories to tell, insights to share and newfound appreciation for the arts!
