On Thursday, 28th May, Year 4 students from St Anthony’s alongside St Brigid’s, participated in the Year 4 La Salle Experience Day.  Despite less-than-ideal weather, the students and their teachers made their way to the La Salle College Campus bright and early for a day full of fun and memories!

The beginning of the day saw our lovely welcome into the John Smith Gymnasium and a run-down on how the day will play out.  With five activities running during the day; including Science, Cooking/ Textiles, Art and PE, the students had plenty of time for some well-earnt fun and learning of some great new skills.

From creating their own fruit kebabs, watching a hydrogen balloon experiment go off with a bang (with safety measures of course!) and eating a delicious provided recess, the students had not only a warm welcome to La Salle College, but got to create some great memories along the way!

As the end of the day approached, we said our goodbyes in the Gymnasium and made our way to the buses to head home.

Thank you again to La Salle College for an amazing experience that our students will not soon forget, paving the way for future learning and fun!
