News will continue to take place on Fridays in small groups in Year 2. To make news time more meaningful and interesting for the children we have allocated a focus to each week. Preparation will be necessary for the children to benefit from the experience. Please see below for this term’s list of news topics (this has also been sent home in a separate note). Students are split into those that share news in EVEN weeks and ODD weeks. These have been the same since the start of the year and have not changed.
- Week 2/3: Bring in a photo of your pet and tell us how you take care of it OR Talk about a pet you would like to have and how you would take care of it.
- Week 4/5: Tell your group what you can do to help look after our environment in some way
- Week 6/7: Choose a place you would like to visit that you have never been to before and explain why you would like to go there
- Week 8/9: Tell us about your favourite television show or movie and why it is your favourite
