We are looking forward to coming together as a school community on Friday, 12th June (Week 8) to celebrate St Anthony’s Feast Day.  This special day unites our Pre‑Primary to Year Six students in faith, fun and a spirit of community.  We ask the students to please bring in a gold coin donation as we support fundraising for the Catholic Missions.  No additional money will be required to participate in the activities this year.

The day will include:

  • Whole School Mass at 9.00am in St Anthony’s Church, prepared by our Year 3 students.
  • Activity rotations will occur between recess and lunch, where students will enjoy a variety of fun activities.  Pre-Primary students will be taken to the activities in small groups by members of staff.
  • Sausage sizzle lunch will be provided for all children as part of the celebration.  If you do not wish for your child to receive a sausage sizzle, please inform the class teacher.  Please note that there will be no Subway orders available on this day.
  • Buddy activities after lunch, giving students the chance to spend time with their buddies enjoying a range of fun activities.

Students are asked to wear their sports uniform (school polo top) on this day.

If you have any questions or feel that the proposed plan for the day may raise issues relevant to your child’s safe and full participation, please contact your child’s classroom teacher to discuss these further.

We look forward to a joyful day of community, celebration and supporting those in need.
