“You have asked to have your child baptised. In doing so you are accepting the responsibility of training him (her) in the practice of the faith. It will be your duty to bring him (her) up to keep God’s commandments as Christ taught us, by loving God and our neighbour. Do you clearly understand what you are undertaking?”

  • To receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, your child must have already received the Sacraments of  Baptism, Reconciliation and First Holy Communion (Eucharist).

For your information the dates and times of Mass and information sessions when you will be required at St Anthony’s Church are outlined below.  Your regular attendance at Weekend Mass and these sessions is of vital importance and crucial for the spiritual development and wellbeing of your child and therefore are compulsory.  If a session is missed, you will need to contact the Parish Office to arrange to catch up on the session you missed so that your child is ready to receive the Sacrament with their class.

As you will see below, each sacrament involves an Enrolment and Rite of Commitment mass.  A completed enrolment form is required to be brought to this mass, a copy of which can be downloaded and printed via the links below.  A paper copy will also be provided through the school prior to the mass.
