In Week 8 of this term, a Speech Pathologist will be visiting our Kindy classes to complete a brief individual speech and language screening assessment.
The screening assessment looks at areas such as speech sounds, listening skills and early language development. A report will be shared with both the school and family, providing insights that can assist us to better support the children’s learning and development in the classroom.
Please note that speech screening is a school‑wide program conducted for all Kindy students as part of our early monitoring and support processes. As this screening is organised and implemented across the entire cohort, participation is required.
