The School has an active Parents & Friends’ Association, which has given great support to the school in the provision and maintenance of facilities.
The Association depends on the support of the whole School Community to be able to continue its work. Parents are asked to respond generously to any appeal and to support P&F functions.
Meetings of the Association are held every month. These meetings are an important forum for information and discussion of issues in relation to the School and to Catholic education generally and give parents an opportunity to participate in the life and development of the School.
The P&F serves our school community in a variety of critical ways from fundraising, communication with families about social and educational events at the school to representing the views of parents to various government bodies, the school board, the parish council and to the school staff through the class representative scheme in place at St Anthony’s.
All families are encouraged to support the association through membership at the committee level or simply by assisting at the many social events held by the association throughout the year. Attendance at the educational seminars organised by the committee is also welcomed and encouraged.
