As discussed with our Year 6 students this week, they have the opportunity to write and be selected to present a speech at this year’s Catholic Performing Arts Festival.

Participation is optional.  Students who are interested have until Thursday, 7th May to prepare a speech on a topic of their choice and present it to their peers. From these presentations, three students will be selected to represent the school.

Selected students will then have the opportunity to refine and practise their speeches over the coming months, leading up to the festival performance in August.

We kindly ask that students take responsibility for writing their speeches independently. Each speech should be approximately four minutes in length.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
