In Year 3, we have been working hard to practise NAPLAN style questions in the lead up to our first ever NAPLAN.  As you would have noticed through the seesaw activities posted, the students have done a lot of preparation with reading, spelling and grammar questions.  They have all participated and tried their very best in all activities.  These styles of questions were new to them and involved a lot of iPad use.

As such, we have noticed that the students are becoming a little too dependent and distracted by their iPad, expecting all activities and all hours of the school day to be on their iPad.  Once NAPLAN is completed, we have decided to have some iPad free time in Year 3.  This will allow our bodies to reset and realise that education can take place in many forms.  The other important reason we are sharing this with you is so that you understand why there will be no seesaw activities posted during this time.
