The Year Four Holy Communion Reflection Day will be held on Friday, 5th June. On this day all students will be involved in prayerful reflection. The students will attend the Parish Mass at 9:00am and those making their First Holy Communion will practise for First Holy Communion mass in the afternoon. All students will participate in reflective activities and enjoy a shared lunch. The students preparing for Holy Communion will also have the opportunity to receive Reconciliation on the day.
The students will begin and end the day in their classrooms.
The school will provide lunch for students on this day (pizza from Domino’s). Please note that in class the students will get to choose the type of pizza they would like from four different types. Each student will get 3 slices of pizza. Please contact us if you would prefer that your child DID NOT receive Pizza on the day.
What the students need to do/bring:
- Wear their sports uniform (dress warm as it is cold in the hall).
- Bring their own morning tea and water bottle.
- Bring their own lunch if they do not like pizza.
- Bring a pencil case and something to lean on (e.g. clipboard).
Thank you for your support and we look forward to a reflective day with the students.
