The Year 1 classroom teachers would like to invite families to send in any items that symbolise or celebrate their culture.
We will be setting up a display of these items for the children to see. All care will be taken with these items, but please do not send in anything that is fragile or cannot be replaced, in the event it is damaged.
If any family members would like to come and talk to the children about their culture, we would love to welcome them! Alternatively, stories and photos can be emailed to: sharon.hume@cewa.edu.au (Year 1 Gold) and madison.routley@cewa.edu.au (Year 1 Blue).
We value every culture in our school and everywhere – Everybody Belongs.
