Harmony day is a day to celebrate everyone’s diverse cultures and who they are and we certainly did that.  This year we focussed on the African culture.  We learned that there are many animals, foods and traditional dances that they do. First, we listened to Mrs A’s life in South Africa, then we did some dancing, after that we listened to some traditional songs from Africa with the Bassonovas Community Drumming Group.  We learned that every village in Africa has a different rhythm as well as learning about all the different types of animals and that they have many traditional foods.
