To celebrate Grandparents’ Day, we warmly invite all grandparents and special friends to join us at St Anthony’s School on Friday, 16th October (Week 1).
Grandparents and special friends play a very important role in the lives of our children. Through their love, support, wisdom and encouragement, they help shape our children’s values, confidence and sense of belonging. We are grateful for the special contribution they make to our school community and would like to thank them by welcoming them to this celebration.
The morning will begin with a Grandparents’ Day Breakfast in the hall at 7:30am, generously provided by our P&F. We would love for our grandparents and special friends to join us for this special occasion.
At 9:00am, we will move to St Anthony’s Church for a whole-school Mass lead by our Year 1’s, celebrating Grandparents’ Day.
Following Mass, grandparents and special friends are invited to visit their grandchild’s classroom from 10:00am to 10:30am and take part in some classroom activities.
We look forward to sharing this special morning with our grandparents and special friends, as we celebrate the love, care and guidance they bring to the lives of our children every day.
