Book List Drop Off Opportunity
The first day of school can sometimes be a bit hectic for both students and teachers. So to make the transition back to school life hopefully a little bit smoother, we would like to offer families the opportunity to drop off booklist items the week prior to school commencing.
Families are invited to pop in on Friday, 30th January, between 9:00am and 10:30am and deliver the booklist items to the classroom teacher. This will enable the classroom teacher time to organise these items ready for the first day back with the students.
Uniform Shop News
The St Anthony’s School uniform will continue to be available via the Uniform Shop located at the rear of our school hall. To support families with back to school uniform requirements, the Uniform Shop will be open from 9:00am to 10:30am on Friday, 30th January. Online orders placed during the school holidays will be available for pick up on the morning.
In preparation for next year, below is a link to the schools ‘Uniform Requirements’ page on our school website and a few uniform points to remember when preparing for the new school year.
- Students starting in Pre Primary and Year 1 next year are required to wear the full sports uniform each day of the week.
- Our new 2026 Year 2 students transition into the full school uniform. Students will be required to wear the more formal uniform three days a week and the sports uniform on the other two. Please refer to the link below for the summer and winter uniform requirements.
- The specific sports days for each class will be shared with families prior to the school term commencing. It is expected that students will wear the correct uniform on the appropriate days.
- If for any reason a student is unable to wear the correct uniform on the appropriate day or needs to wear an item that is not in line with the schools uniform requirements document, parents/ caregivers are required to inform their child’s classroom teacher.
- When getting back to school hair cuts, the uniform guidelines and procedures document states that excessive hairstyles, colours and fashion trends are not permitted. Shaved lines and patterns are not considered appropriate and should not be requested. Hair past the collar will need to be tied up. If in doubt please check with the principal prior to requesting a specific hair cut.
- If purchasing black ‘school’ shoes for the start of the new year, these should not be black runners, instead these shoes need to be of a leather style black ‘school’ shoe.
- Items of clothing purchased elsewhere are not in line with our uniform requirements and not permitted to be worn.
- Please take note of the correct sock requirements for each specific uniform. Alternative socks should not be worn and the correct style of sock should be worn with the correct uniform.
As of 2026, the School Uniform Shop will be open on a new day being Mondays from 8:45am to 12:00pm
