St Anthony’s proudly supports the Crunch & Sip initiative across all year levels. Sometime between the start of the school day and the morning tea break, all students are given the opportunity to enjoy a short classroom break to eat fresh fruit or vegetables and drink water. This helps refuel their bodies and brains, supporting concentration, energy and positive learning behaviours.
We encourage families to send children to school each day with a clearly named water bottle and a small container of fruit or vegetables so they can take part in this healthy routine.
Crunch & Sip is more than just a snack break, it is an opportunity to educate, model and encourage healthy habits that students can carry with them beyond their primary years. Through this initiative, St Anthony’s continues to nurture not only strong learners, but healthy, confident and resilient young people.
We thank our staff, students and families for their ongoing commitment to making Crunch & Sip a valued part of everyday life at our School.
