The choir has been working very hard in preparation for the Catholic Performing Arts Festival, One Big Voice and the Music Assembly.
First up, we will have our Music Assembly on Friday, 14th August. This assembly is for students to showcase what they have been working on in the various music experiences offered at St Anthony’s School. The students may wear their sports uniform on this day.
On Friday, 21st August, the children will perform at the One Big Voice Festival at RAC Arena. The children will need to arrive at school at 8:20am in the Music Room. We will leave at 8:45am and travel by bus to RAC Arena for a rehearsal before the big concert.
The children will only need to bring their lunch in disposable packaging on the day. Anything that has not been consumed during the assigned eating time will be disposed of before the concert starts at 12:00pm. I will provide drink bottles for the children. Please do not send drink bottles on the day.
At the conclusion of the concert, we will be called to a designated pick-up area for any parents wanting to take their child home after the concert. I will have details of which room closer to the day. Any parents who wish to take their child home directly from the concert must inform myself using the online form linked below, prior to Thursday, 21st August. Please see below the exit plan. All children who are not being collected from the venue will return to school on a bus provided by the school. I have also linked below a timeline for the day to give you an idea of how the day will run.
Tickets for One Big Voice have already begun selling on the Ticketek website. We are performing at the Matinee concert in section B3. Block 214 will provide best viewing on the day.
Our final performance for the term will be on Wednesday, 26th August, at the Vasto Club, Balcatta. The children will attend school as usual with their regular packed lunch. The children will be given time to eat before boarding a bus at 12:15pm. The children will return to school by bus before the end of the school day. We are performing in the 1:00pm timeslot. Parents wishing to attend can purchase tickets via the Spirit of the Arts Website.
The children are to wear their winter school uniform to both One Big Voice and the Performing Arts Festival.
