This year’s Book Week theme is “Symphony of Stories”, celebrating the many stories that inspire, entertain and bring us together.
As part of our celebrations, students are invited to participate in our Book Week Parade

Parents, carers and family members are warmly invited to attend the parade.
Costume Inspiration & Tips
✔ Keep it simple! A simple outfit or a prop or two or a costume put together from items already at home is perfect. The focus is on celebrating books and having fun. We do encourage students to bring along for the day the book their character is taken from.
Throughout the week, students will also enjoy some Book Week activities at school. We will share more information about these closer to the date.
We can’t wait to see the creative “Symphony of Stories” our students bring to life!
Did You Know?
Children’s Book Week, coordinated by the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA), is Australia’s longest-running children’s literary festival. It begins with the announcement of the prestigious CBCA Book of the Year Awards, celebrating outstanding Australian children’s literature.
